Our Bishop has always contended that we are either entering a storm, in a storm or coming out of a storm. With Tropical Storm Dorian looming on the state of Florida, we obviously find ourselves about to enter a storm naturally and for many, spiritually. Wednesday night’s message was a reminder that “the hand that holds the hurricane is the same hand that holds us!” Our faith in God himself often makes us a target for storms but those same storms only come so they can pass. Sure, we should remain vigilant and prepared as storms come but also steadfast and unmovable knowing that the sovereign God (our fortress, our refuge, our stronghold) is with us through every storm that comes our way. In other words, “Track the storm but trust in God”. Take time to listen to this message in its entirety ahead, in or coming out of your next storm.
