A Sure Word from the Lord was deposited at The Potter’s House today and a mighty praise was released into the atmosphere! We’re giving thanks and praising God for our enemies! Bishop McLaughlin’s message entitled, “I’m Praising God For My Enemies” referencing Matthew?5:44, gives instructions to the saints to love our enemies unconditionally and pray for those who persecute you.
Bishop’s message was in conjunction with?Friday?night’s message, “How To Be Perfect” where Bishop taught us that mature Christians take on the image of Christ and should forgive and love our enemies unconditionally. We discovered through today’s message that everyone that we must freely forgive is not a sworn enemy. God wants us to learn how to forgive those who don?t even know that they have done anything to us. Then, there’s the sworn enemy, the Devil, who uses people to try to bring us down, ruin our reputations and destroy what God has produced in and through our lives. However, we found joy through Matthew 5:11-12 which tells us that God blesses us when people mock, persecute, lie and say evil things against the saints. We should be happy about it as a great reward awaits in heaven!
Bishop’s assignment today was to teach us that there is a huge blessing in having enemies. Because we are chosen and special, the antics of our enemies bring the hand of God in our lives. Forgiving our haters proves maturity and that you are a child of God. Forgive your enemies! Pray for those who despitefully use you! Praise God for your enemies! #pray #praise #forgive #love
