The current destruction in and around the U.S. is unprecedented! Hurricane Harvey?s catastrophe is expected to exceed $190 billion to make Houston and surrounding areas livable again. An 8.1 earthquake strikes Mexico killing dozens and the massive storm, Hurricane Irma, swept through some of the Caribbean Islands causing complete and total destruction. Over 60 percent of the entire state of Florida was left without power and in darkness. Through it all there was a Sure Word from the Lord! Bishop McLaughlin?s?Wednesday?night?s message derived from Matthew 24:13-14, entitled, ?There Are Some Things That Storms Can?t Destroy,? encouraging the saints to hold on and endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ Jesus!
Storms, whether natural or spiritual are a part of life and Bishop mentioned that natural storms should not be our greatest concern. If we’ve witnessed unprecedented natural occurrences, then we should prepare ourselves for unprecedented spiritual occurrences. God has made provision for us during our current calamities and there?s some things storms cannot destroy. Bishop taught us that storms cannot destroy our Purpose; for all things work together for the good of them that love God.? No storm can destroy our Prayer and Peace as we should not worry about anything, instead pray about everything and God will give us perfect peace. God?s Presence and His Power will always be with us and can never be destroyed. Bishop reminded us that no storm can take our Praise or destroy our Promise! Saints, God requires us to endure to the end and in the midst of all the calamity and destruction, the Gospel must still be preached. Hold on and he that endured until the end shall prosper! #praise #promise #peace #endure #tphimjax
