Oftentimes we go through struggles in life and blame God for the outcome. But, is God the blame or us? There?s some things that come as a result of what we do or our habits. Thank you Bishop Calhoun for a sure Word from the Lord with?Wednesday?Night?s Bible Study message entitled, ?The Habit Breaker,” referencing Judges 6:1-10. In the text we learned that Israel has developed a bad habit of being disobedient to God. God responds by leaving them alone to themselves to see how habitual disobedience works for them. Bishop Calhoun expressed that disobedience draws us away from the presence of God, however we serve a good God that still pursues us even when we have fallen away. God loves us dearly and endures our disobedience because of His love. He loves us so much that He allows us to be trapped in our own habits and is committed to helping us break patterns of ungodliness. Saints, if we want to be blessed we have to willing to divest of the flesh, the world and all of its? trappings and invest ourselves into the things of God.? We must redirect our lives, remove the clutter and distractions that the enemy has programmed us to respond to. Ask God to show us, keep us daily and keep our eyes focused on Him so we can be freely used by God to do His will.? Ask of these things and walk in obedience! He?s the Habit Breaker!
